The jersey fabric is made on rare circular knitting machines – real treasures from the 1920s to 60s, which are now only used in small numbers in Wakayama, Japan.

Different strengths of cotton yarn are processed under low tension. The result: a pleasantly loose, richly textured fabric with a true vintage character – and the feeling that things used to be made better.
