True Guy Elephant 2 Reborn Indigo

The "True Guy Elephant 2 Reborn" by Naked & Famous Denim is crafted from an Elephant series fabric that is being re-released for the third time with this edition. This revival is thanks to the raw denim community, which has worn the Elephant 2 for years, documented their fades, and repeatedly requested the fabric.

The 22 oz heavy Japanese selvedge denim is made of 100% cotton, with the warp rope-dyed in indigo. Naturally, the jeans are dense and stiff when new, and the break-in period takes significantly longer than with lighter fabrics. Over time, the fabric becomes noticeably softer. Because the core of the yarn remains light during the rope-dyeing process, high-contrast fades develop at the knees, thighs, and pockets, along with deep creases and a distinct surface texture.

The True Guy is a relaxed straight fit with a high rise. The seat, hips, and thighs are generously cut, with the leg running straight from there to the hem. The jeans feature a button fly, and the patch at the waistband is made of 10 oz vegetable-tanned leather.
