The "Type A-10" winter gloves became an official part of the USAAF uniform on July 20, 1938, and were worn throughout World War II.

From the USAAF stamps to the wool lining and the wool cuffs, everything is true to the original – only when it comes to the leather does The Real McCoy's go its own way: For their version, high-quality horse leather is used instead of goat leather.
