In 2013, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks announced that, following their successful miniseries "Band Of Brothers" and "Pacific", they would be working on a new war drama titled "Masters Of The Air".

As production ramped up in 2019, the team turned to Eastman to obtain authentic flight jackets and historical clothing. The legendary A-2 flight jacket of the US Army Air Force was particularly sought after. Several variations of the Eastman A-2 were used, with the Air Master being one of the standout models.

Made from thick, vegetable-tanned horsehide with an authentic "time-worn" finish, just as we know and love from Eastman Leather. The ribbed cuffs are made from 100% wool, and the zipper is an original Talon. Authenticity guaranteed down to the smallest detail!
