1944 führte das U.S. Marine Corps eine neue Utility-Hose aus Herringbone Twill ein, entwickelt für den harten Einsatz im Feld. Die "M-1944 Herringbone Pants" von Buzz Rickson's greifen genau dieses späte Kriegsmodell auf und reproduzieren es mit großer Präzision.

Der robuste Baumwoll-Herringbone-Twill verbindet Strapazierfähigkeit mit guter Beweglichkeit und entwickelt mit jedem Tragen mehr Charakter. Das markante Fischgrätgewebe gehörte über viele Jahre zur Standardausrüstung amerikanischer Streitkräfte und zählt bis heute zu den prägendsten Militärstoffen dieser Zeit.

Große Balgtaschen an den Oberschenkeln, aufgesetzte Gesäßtaschen und die breite Gas Flap hinter der Knopfleiste zeigen, dass diese Hose konsequent für den militärischen Alltag entwickelt wurde. Die Ösen im Bund dienten zur Aufnahme von Hakenhosenträgern – ein Detail, das heute fast vergessen ist, damals jedoch selbstverständlich zur Ausrüstung gehörte.
