The "Heritage Jeans 15oz Hand Dyed Black" by Graphzero is based on classic denim craftsmanship with a clear reference to early workwear.

Made from 15oz selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms in Japan.

The warp threads are hand-dyed black, while the weft threads remain grey. Unlike rope dyeing, this does not result in a homogeneous color, but rather an uneven color pattern with fine gradations. It is precisely these nuances that give the fabric depth and allow it to change individually over time.

Nep and slub yarns in warp and weft add additional structure to the fabric. This makes the surface appear rough, lively, and slightly irregular – a denim with clear movement instead of a flat surface.

The construction is based on early 1900s workwear jeans. Classic 5-pocket construction, reinforced seams, and functional details for maximum durability. These include concealed rivets on the back pockets, a high-set cinch-back, a ducktail back with an inverted rolled seam on the yoke, and an offset center belt loop.
