The black "BR02272 A-4 Knit Cap" is inspired by the knitted caps worn by Army and Air Force mechanics during World War II and is part of Buzz Rickson's x William Gibson collection.

The hat is made of high-quality wool and the unique six-panel construction ensures a high level of comfort.

The idea for an all-black collection was inspired by Buzz Rickson's fictional black MA-1 jacket, which the science fiction author designed for his protagonist in his book "Pattern Recognition". Buzz Rickson's brought the never-before-seen jacket to life and thus laid the foundation for the unique militaria collaboration "Type Black".
