The "Black M-43" from Buzz Rickson's is a faithful reissue of the 1943 US Army boot – here in the rare black version of the William Gibson Series.
The idea originated with science fiction author William Gibson, who described a fictional black MA-1 in Pattern Recognition . Buzz Rickson's took this design, brought it to life, and created the exclusive "Type Black" line – classic military pieces, radically reimagined in black.
The boot itself remains original: roughout leather, solidly stitched, completely black from the seams to the leather sole. No toe cap for greater flexibility, with a solid leather sole for support and protection.
