The "XX-013 14 oz. Indigo Selvedge Slim Tapered" by Pure Blue Japan tapers gently from the thigh to the hem – a cut that has established itself as an answer to the classic straight five-pocket construction: less excess fabric at the ankle, resulting in a more streamlined silhouette.

It is made from a 14oz denim developed in-house by Pure Blue Japan, woven from 100% cotton. The yarns are spun with irregular thickness and are deep indigo-dyed before weaving. The fabric is woven on traditional, slow-running looms, which are operated by only a few weaving mills worldwide today, most of them in Japan. This structure forms the basis for the high-contrast fading for which Pure Blue Japan is known.
