The "XX-019 14 oz. Indigo Selvedge Relaxed Tapered" from Pure Blue Japan is deliberately cut wide in the seat and thigh, tapering only at the hem.

It is made from a 14oz selvedge denim developed in-house by Pure Blue Japan, woven from 100% cotton. The yarns are irregularly spun and deeply indigo-dyed; they are woven on traditional, slow-running looms, which only still exist in Japan, as faster modern looms would break the uneven yarn. Over time, this irregularity manifests as fine-grained fading across the entire surface.
