Jackman
Founded in Japan in 1949 by baseball enthusiast Mitsugu Tanabe, Jackman has an impressive history as a sportswear manufacturer. Starting with just three knitting machines, Mitsugu Tanabe developed his own machines and knitting techniques that produced a quality never seen before in the sportswear industry. His unique creations were so well received that Jackman made the training clothes for the 1964 Japanese Olympic team. Mitsugu Tanabe's work and philosophy continue to this day: each garment is made in the same factory, using the same vintage knitting machines, by highly skilled craftsmen who have been working in the clothing industry for decades.
